We had a company account with 100K+ followers suspended (because users were brigading our account, reporting for various reasons). Twitter thought it would be easier locking our account, than dealing with one or two spammers (with hundreds of bot accounts). No human ever in the loop with a "FINAL" decision made to suspend.

Don't trust any of these social media companies. Not your username/profile. You can get kicked for any number of ridiculous reasons. Your email list and website are the only sovereign digital marketing assets.

Now imagine spending thousands buying the user name and then getting suspended.

If you bought it off-market previously, then fair game. But if they do that to users who bought using the new handles program? Expect some noise, and Elon jumping in to say something random about the suspension lol.
