I have been cautious of Unstoppable because they are a one man show reminded me of the old Epik.
I have been just as careful with spaceship, we all know that is going to become a crap show like everything else owned by private equity.
Look at some of the most successful domainers here on DN.ca and see who we use as registrars. We stay local with people we know and where we can pick up the phone and talk to someone with authority.
It's no secret I like WHC and Canspace and most of you will probably say that is because they are sponsors. I was actually using both before DN.ca was born and I chased the two companies down and asked them to become sponsors.
Again, all I can say is be careful leaving your highest assets in a foreign country. I can actually drive down and knock on the door of my registrar, can you say the same for yours?
I have conversed extensively behind the lines (via DM) to some of the largest .CA catalog holders and the one thing most of them have in common is they are using a trusted registrar, someone they have been using for a long time, who provides them personal assistance when needed.
