As the years go by I realize anything you say on a lander about the domain can be used against you.

For instance on my last UDRP the Domain name without the extension was used against me, as well as a generic pic, or even something as innocent as a domain descriptions or an image representing the domain.

One of the things I have done on my newer landers is the domain name never even gets mentioned. You will notice it simply says the domain name in the address bar is for sale.

I also do not use a description, or graphic, for the domain, instead I focus on my MapleDots logo and the fact that the domain is for sale.

In a UDRP they even print out how many times you changed name servers to use that against you.

Literally anything you say or do can and probably will impact the UDRP/CDRP so in my opinion one should go as generic as possible with landers.

I have landers at other places like spaceship etc and one of the descriptions I like to use is...

" Buy this domain today and us it as early as tomorrow "

So instead of describing the domain I describe the transaction.

Beware of sites that Auto generate logos because they can impact decisions in numerous ways and not all of them can be positive. In fact if the client is thinking of a different end use and your logo shows something completely different it could possibly put doubt into the clients mind instead of what you intended.

Red.ca is what I always use as an example of my lander, it shows my business and it treats the domain as property free and clean of any obstructions or pre-conceived ideas someone else may have that differ from the potential end user.
