I'm always putting my phone on top of papers, bill receipts, etc that I don't want to blow off my desk.
Phones have replaced pretty well everything that they can replace, and on a macro scale, that is horrible for both the economy and tech innovation. With smart phones, the world has become incredibly boring, with almost zero new tech items, and any potential new technology is just incorporated into the phone instead. Boooow-ring!
I guess that's why people gamble so much (or spend thousands on Pokemon cards or Labubu dolls) - they're bored. Gambling is the 'new drinking' from the pre-tech era, that ended in the 70's.
