w.com is probably out of the question so it'll launch under wSocial or something

X will soon have similar when X-Pay comes out. All accounts wanting to use advanced features will have to have identity verified (of course) because it's tied to finances.

It's actually ingenious to verify the user base, and the more things Musk adds to his all-in-one platform the more real it will become. A simple social network will never be able to recreate anything that X is doing or what X will become.

There’s no replacement for X, and no competition is killing it. X is trying to kill itself with constant algorithm changes and new feature updates. Their search still sucks.
