Reg.ca (3.Viewing)

Does anyone know anything about reg.ca? I just came across it and it's like a blast from the past! I mean the website is straight up from the 90s. Literally every single page is a relic that needs to be preserved for future generations.

The perfect example of that era of the internet is the Simpsons episode (The Computer Wore Menace Shoes) where Homer buys a computer, goes online and creates a website, complete with animated icons.

That show is a like a bottle of pure late-90's PC nostalgia, and it's even got Bill Gates in it.

They were active in the TBR space too and some of our friends here had domains with Reg.ca and won several TBR picks. They had a successful TBR run on the 20th 0f March, 2003 when there was a massive drop of LLs.

I too won a handful of domains during 2005-2008 with them, but moved away when it became a hassle managing domains from different Registrars. Helen was helpful and upfront and I have only good words for them.

I haven't done any business with then after 2010 and that's a lifetime in TBR world.

cdndomainregistry.ca used to be very similar too.
