Reg.ca (3.Viewing)

The perfect example of that era of the internet is the Simpsons episode (The Computer Wore Menace Shoes) where Homer buys a computer, goes online and creates a website, complete with animated icons.

That show is a like a bottle of pure late-90's PC nostalgia, and it's even got Bill Gates in it.

Does anyone know anything about reg.ca? I just came across it and it's like a blast from the past! I mean the website is straight up from the 90s. Literally every single page is a relic that needs to be preserved for future generations. 😍
They were active in the TBR space too and some of our friends here had domains with Reg.ca and won several TBR picks. They had a successful TBR run on the 20th 0f March, 2003 when there was a massive drop of LLs.

I too won a handful of domains during 2005-2008 with them, but moved away when it became a hassle managing domains from different Registrars. Helen was helpful and upfront and I have only good words for them.

I haven't done any business with then after 2010 and that's a lifetime in TBR world.

I need to look it up)
