TBR Drop - Feb 18, 2026 (20.Viewing)

I’m sorry, but pre-orders are private, and we cannot confirm one way or the other due to the winner’s privacy rights.

Yeah, it's a bit too convoluted for me, I prefer to go in Bid and get out. All the pre orders and stuff is not for me, at WHC I just bid without worrying about pre orders or that someone else is getting a big discount over what I would have paid.

All that said for anyone putting in the time, energy, and research grape will probably be a bargain ground similar to BM. The more frugal, or seasoned, domainers will find those auctions and come away with some bargains. WHC will get the instant gratification crowd who is more apt to bid on the fly and that is reflected in their higher sales numbers.

Logically, given the scenario and the pattern of bids, it sold to the pre-order high bidder for $5200.

Yup and that's exactly why I did not hit the bid button and wont be moving forward, had I bid it would have cost me exactly twice that, no thanks!

Ultimately it's Grapes loss because had they shown 5k I would have entered the auction and my max amount was even higher than the 10k it displayed. It was knowing that was not the REAL amount that kept me from going in, had it been the actual bid I would have bid more.

I'm also very interested in nn.ca, but they only accept Canadian users to participate in the auction.

That's the Catch-22 with the Grape system where every single TBR win goes to auction - if Grape didn't give customers some type or reward or advantage to preorder, then absolutely no one would ever preorder there.
