Managing hundreds or thousands of domains takes a lot of monitoring, renewals, pricing decisions, and tracking trends.

Do you think AI tools like OpenClaw could eventually handle large domain portfolios better than people?

Or is domain strategy still too human-driven for AI to really replace?

AI can handle lower-value or generic domains well, but it’s less effective when you already have a strong idea or vision for the domain.

It can quickly build a solid website or prototype, but it can’t fully understand the specific direction you had planned unless the concept is very obvious. The strategy, branding, and long-term positioning of a domain usually still require human input.

That said, AI can still be useful by suggesting ways to monetize a domain name, generating content ideas, and helping you quickly test different concepts.

AI is great for speed and prototyping.
Humans are still better at strategy, branding, and long-term vision.

And acquaintance of mine was using OpenClaw to help manage his Facebook group with 149,000 users. Now Facebook has locked him out of his 22 year old Facebook account and he lost control of his group... of course there are many things he did wrong, i.e. only having one admin and relying on FB.

And there's been tons of stories with deleted emails, data etc. from others.
