I’ve been building out a small, curated set of names under Studio.ca.

Each is positioned as something to build.

Concepts
Saloon.ca — a social layer for live sports and betting
Alien.ca — identity in an increasingly anonymous internet
Afterparty.ca — community beyond the event

Actualized
Claim.ca — claim intake platform and class action database

Open to working with the right operators.

Thank you Frank, and thank you for putting Kevin Ham/Venture.com on my radar.
Let me point you two more ways ;-)

Chad Folkenings ecorp is trying to do something similar: Contrib, Build and Earn CTB Tokens with your next Startup. Join our Network today.

There's also Ryan Cobly's domain hackathon building MVPs for domains, even though his website has an SSL error at the moment:

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Just to avoid any confusion, I rebranded to Named.ca. Studio.ca is now listed as a partnership asset on named.ca, along with the other names mentioned above (and a few others I've listed for BIN).

Thank you, Frank. 'Had some reservations about named.ca. Thought about it a lot (probably too long). I don't have a technical background - thank you for raising that interpretation. And Nameit.ca is excellent for this end-use. Great name.

When I started I was contemplating MapleDomains, which is even longer. I ended up going with MapleDots because at that time I experienced Dippin Dots Ice Cream for the first time. I thought it had a good ring and I wanted a Canadian flavour for my .ca's.

At the time most everyone told me to use MapleDomains but I think MapleDots and my logo aged much better and I've used it for over 20 years.

So don't feel bad, named is definitely not too long by comparison.

Named I read as name-d, as in nameserver daemon... but that's because I'm a nerd. I like it too.

yes, my brain only reads it as name-d too, probably any linux system administrator type nerd is going to think the same thing. but Named @Named shouldn’t worry about it too much, its gotta be a very tiny percentage of us who think that way?

Named is perfect
