Set your price at Make Offer in all marketplaces, during your negotiations tell the end user they can save 7-22% (depending on marketplace) if they follow the checkout link.

Last stage of negotiations this can save money and the 3% barely covers processing fees. It's pretty easy to take negotiations off platform to use a checkout link at 3-5%, I've been doing it forever. The only problem is you have to switch marketplaces so if the negotiation started at spaceship you shift to unstoppable or vice versa.

Most tos prohibit this pretty clearly. Not saying nobody does it, but let's not pretend it's some clever optimization. It's free-riding on marketplace traffic. you're stealing from their marketing budget and platform who brought you the lead.

the secondary domain market only works because there's a reasonably trusted ecosystem of platforms. Enough of this and marketplaces will tighten verification to the point of friction for everyone

It comes out in the wash, I refer between two marketplaces, each one is the loser or benefactor while my commission is 3-5%
