I noticed AIagent.ca in this weeks hotlist and thought I would open a separate topics asking if anyon ehas been impacted by the AI keyword.

As you all know I have been in the MAPLE niche for many years so I am wondering if anyone has picked up the AI niche.

I remember advising a member who had hundreds of 420 branded .CA's to be carefully and unfortunately he was not successful in the niche.

Anyone else have a niche or is successful at niche sales?

I haven't really gone heavy into ai names myself, mostly because I just don't totally buy it as a .ca niche. AI is hot sure, but most of the serious buyers in that space want to look international, so .com or .ai just makes more sense to me. I think .ca works best when being Canadian is actually part of the value, like legal, tax, privacy, healthcare, gov stuff, bilingual services, that kind of thing. But something like AIagent.ca just feels more like a backup name than a real natural fit. I don't think many people building ai products care that their ai agent is canadian.

'agent' and 'agentic' are two big keywords in AI, being that people will eventually have virtual "AI agents" that do all sorts of tasks for you, like research, booking hotels and flights, restaurant reservations, payments, etc. People might have multiple agents that do different tasks. So "AIagent" is a timely term, but my guess would be someone builds a business on AIagent.com or .ai and ends up trying to acquire the .ca as an add on.
