No, I'm talking about making a deal and backing out, once your reputation takes a hit there's no going back.

Or like those nutty Indian guys on NP - they sell domains over a long period of time and create a sense of confidence and reliability,.. but one day, they sell a pile of domains then take all the money and run.

A lot of people think reputation only matters with end users, but domainer-to-domainer deals are even more reputation-sensitive.
A clean name is important, but a clean reputation is what gets people comfortable doing repeat deals with you.

I have dealt with hundreds of domainers and my reputation is A1. Even when I paid 50k for a domain the domainer released it to me before receiving payment. Reputation is everything in this business, once you wreck it there really is no going back.
