Does anyone else find some of this deeply disturbing?

The use of the word "recover" is odd:

"1. to get back or regain (something lost or taken away)."
as those anonymous domain name acquisitions are often for domain name upgrades, where their client never had something "lost" or "stolen" in the first place.

Yep, that's a pretty horrible statement to make - but remember who this service is being marketed to. That line will probably get them a lot of foolish customers to spend money with them.
