GoDaddy reports earnings, slower big aftermarket transactions​


Breaking down the domains business further, primary domains grew 5% year over year to $456 million. The aftermarket grew 1% year over year to $130 million. It was up from $127 million in Q4 last year. The average transaction value declined slightly, and the company said it didn’t have the big sales it closed in the first quarter of last year.

I guess newer platform launches like spaceship stealing larger sales had nothing to do with it 🤪
 
More like GoDaddy is running out of their own premium domains to sell off.

This was clearly a short-term solution to raise revenue, but at some point their portfolio will be stripped clean.
