Is it your obligation as the seller to tell the buyer about the Canadian Presence Requirements for .CA?

I had 2 inquiries from California and in both cases I informed them they do not qualify for the domain and risk losing it if they were to purchase it.

I think it is our moral obligation to disclose that.

Agreed. I would also add that if it is for a significant business they could set up a Canadian Corp, which would satisfy the Canadian Presence Requirements.
