Has DNForum.com been sold? - The domain is pending transfer (1 Viewing)

Looks like Epik owned DNForum.com has been pulled offline, and the domain listed for sale.

EDIT: It appears to be back up again. Maybe one of the many "technical" issues lately.

Where was the domain listed?

We all know it's going to shut down, it's inevitable, they scrubbed all the epik stuff a while back.

I reported on this already:

The EPIK decoupling of DNForum.com

I don't think they will find a buyer this time around, it's always sad to see it happen but we knew it would.

Epik sold the forum, they're selling off all assets except the registrar business.
The new ceo doesn't give a rats ass about domainers, he steals what he wants and sells the domains on his marketplace.

I saw this earlier -

The domain has a recent updated date of today, and is in "OK" status.
I wonder why the domain is unlocked now.

Will Epik use any of these sales proceeds to pay off their customer debts? Unlikely.

Then again, I doubt this traded hands for some crazy amount of money. That forum has hardly any activity.

Brad

I agree Brad.. I doubt the selling price will be enough to pay off much debt as it has seemed to be on it’s last legs. It never really gathered any traction with the last couple of owners…imho

Digital Candy has a bad rep on twitter, I can't find it right now but I'll post it if I see it again.
