iol.ca 174
jaq.ca 126

For a grand total of $8,909

I know they didn't get the best domains this week, but the WHC auction deadline hit and more than half of my list disappeared and after about 1-2 bids each, the rest of the list was gone. Poof.

I guess that's what happens when your first TBR selection was Pick #32.

First Round TBR Stats - i.e. The Only Round That Matters

Total First Round Picks: 46

MyID - 37 picks - Top Pick: #1
WHC- 7 picks - Top Pick: #33
PlanetHoster - 1 pick - Top Pick: #42
CatchDrop - 1 pick - Top Pick: #46

I would bet that MyID spent some of their Restricted TBR Revenue to buy additional TBR Links and proceeded to use these extra links to hit a perfect storm and outmatch the top 32 picks on the board.

WHC et al were probably swinging at air for the first round, as MyID had already selected those domains a millisecond before.

Keep in mind that even some of those results should be thrown out. Anyone can get a first round pick - when you're selecting a tenth round draft pick. Planethoster won hahaha.ca and catchdrop won blague.ca. Ironic, one was a good laugh and the other a joke. :ROFLMAO:

Agreed, and that's why I also included the "Top Pick Number' to give it an additional viewpoint.

And yes, "Blague" sounds like something Count Dracula (or maybe Count Blackula) would say.

congratulations Rob lol

I had to google translate it, and when I saw its translation, I had a good laugh considering the hahaha domain too.

"a joke or piece of nonsense"

Truer words were never written.

Here are the WHC results I was bidding on that hit at least $150:

Interval - $338
SVM - $190
HCW - $170
GWP - $160

While we're still investigating, we don't see any obvious issue on our end
It's a very good domain, but just hope Honda and Claude Freeman don't come after it.
I wouldn't worry about honda or anyone else for that matter. There is a potentially built in legal defence in these names in that they have already existed at various levels and to more than one owner! They are collision names in that a wide variety of users could have interest. As long as the name is not used to infringe upon honda or trade off as being related to honda some how there is very little legal exposure and huge upside around the name. If a name exists at various levels bc.ca and on.ca and the parties are not related it shows the multiple uses of trade names

Exactly as I stated earlier, you can say whatever you want, and it might even make sense, but the CDRP is incredibly slanted towards corporate interests and many panelists (like Claude Freeman et al) totally ignore common sense, IPO precedence and even the CDRP itself, and continually give premium single-words and LLL domains away like candy to their corporate overlords.

If Honda wants that domain, they will get it., just like other far lesser-known companies have done over and over using the corporate-friendly CDRP + panelists. I can just hear Claude Freeman now asking 'how in the world anyone could buy Integra.ca in 2023 and not have known about a popular car line from Honda and Acura that has been in production since 1985'.

"On the balance of probabilities, it's obvious that the respondent knew full well about the popular Integra automobile line and clearly targeted it and Honda with this heinous and predatory domain registration."

You think I'm joking? Go read some of Claude Freeman's CDRP decisions (he's never met a domain he didn't give away) and you won't be able to sleep tonight. At this point, you just have to hope Honda doesn't give a rat's ass about the domain.
