Join the club, except I'm usually in there for a lot more than $50.

I also made a test bid on BM to see if "was anyone insane enough to bid on this domain" and no, they weren't... but I got busy with other stuff and totally forgot to delete it.

much easier to get a 10x return on a $35 domain than a 10x return on a $3500 domain!

Same goes for Gloucester, the nostalgia part of it may eventually come into play as a company names the business after the cities history thus making the name a reasonable investment. I kind of concur with domainrecap, it would be a decent domain to have in ones portfolio.

Well it looks like LLLs rule the roost this week (with the possible addition of Skating), which includes SNA, RSD, RIE, SGH, VST, SFF, and more.

This is also the last big LLL Restricted Release and next week has a few stragglers, while the final edition is just end-of-the-alphabet junk, so get those bank loan applications going boys!

I also see the WHC Bid List not really taking off so far on Monday, probably because of the HUGE dropoff in quality after the top LLLs.

Don't forget the oxygene auction is still running until 11:45 Pacific. I kinda wanted it because I did find a handful or more businesses going by that name, but primarily because I already have o2. But I started thinking that I don't have oxygen either, so now I've talked myself out of bidding again. I'm not the current high bidder anyways.

Also don't forget that there are a handful of dregs still in auction at Catchdrop too.

Congrats whoever the buyer of Oxygene.ca is! The price closed at $1500. I saw quite a few companies in QC that should be interested in that domain name, would be a great upgrade for any one of those companies. I don't speak french and have struggled to deal with the language barrier when reaching out to QC companies in the past. But message me if you want my research on it!

Glad to know that I have company. Was the research solely on that domain name or in general. If it is the later, I would be interested.

Yeah, I was bidding on that domain and of course had done research specific to that domain, so that is what I was referring to.

But if you're ever researching a domain in particular, like if you're trying to do some outbound, then feel free to contact me, I might be able to gather some useful info quickly.

Might have to take you up on that one day. I resort to google translate primarily, but I will occasionally bug @Esdiel with an occasional request about the more nuanced usages.
