Any guesses on what Stellar goes for?

With this economy and .CAs not exactly flying off the shelf, mine is $4050

The bidders at myid don't go as high as some of the other catchers so 5-6 is is my guess.

I don't think it would be any different on WHC, or at least only marginally different at that. There are some very deep-pocketed whales that use MyID and will hammer you down hard.

I've seen lots of seeming deals at both MyID and WHC.

P.S. Since you using ranges, I'll go $4K-$5K.

Yeah but I've seen domains sell at myID that I would jump on if I was bidding there. There is no way I'd set my max bid lower than 5k to start off with on a stellar name like that.

Then you need to start bidding there and show us all how it's done.

I've done exactly what you say you'd do and the whales bury me like mad. There are people on there who will bid "whatever it takes" and all you end up doing is wasting your time on premiums that "look like good deals".

It's all an illusion as behind the curtain is a wizard with a big pile of cash.

It closed while I was on the road, middle of Washington state and unexpectedly lost cell service for quite a while... kinda sucks. Nice domain for sure. Good luck to the new owner.

I have a confession...

For the first time in a long time I logged into my myID account and tried to see if I could bid on the name. Because I did not back order it at myID of course I could not bid.

Had that domain been at one of my chosen TBR services then I can tell you 100% for sure it would never have sold that low. I budgeted way more than that for the domain.

Someone got an incredible bargain, that domain checked every single one one of my boxes for a top tier acquisition.

can be used in multiple commerce applications

It is very rare for a TBR domain to check all my boxes.

I am jealous but also happy for the domainer that got this fantastic domain.

PS. This is why I say a closed bidding system loses money, myID could easily have received bids several thousand higher had they accepted outside bidding.

Good for CatchDrop to see that potential by starting the trend to open it up.
