@DomainRecap

The image no longer loads for me, hotlinking is probably blocked.

You should consider using image post upload instead of hotlinking to an image.
Hotlinked images tend to get blocked when the site realizes another site is using their resources.
I will probably be doing away with the image hotlinking soon because it will eventually cause a lot of dead images on the forum.

Here you go - it's my obligatory Die Hard reference:

Seems like it's getting very hot at the auctions!

A lot of the prices were crazy before the auctions started, and I'm thanking my lucky stars I came out with some good stuff at min bid.

I showed my wife and she said "it's like a bunch of monkeys fighting over the same banana"

Congratulations. I wasn’t happy with the results.

Couldn’t have said it better. I couldn’t help myself but laugh so loud that I had to show it to my wife too.

I'm only in 8 auctions, but the prices are about the same as you would expect in a TBR at this point; the real bidding starts tomorrow, but seems usual for the types of names. Hopefully, I'll pick up one or two.

Due to my Min Bid Mania, I'm in about 60 and many of them are really out of whack right now.

I spoke to someone else about this and he thinks that some newbies thought that the initial bidding at Siber was already a BIN auction, rather than just the preliminaries. Might be true.

I am far from happy with the results, but after seeing this madness unfold I still felt good with my relative success. When in Rome... eh?

She certainly has a way with words, as I know all-too-well. :D

Some of you might not want to bid to high on the auctions today. There's one domain that really stand's out next week if anyone is looking for a secretary :)

You really need to work on your riddles.

I fired mine long time ago... LOL

It looks like most of the auctions are over today. Is everybody pleased with what they got?

Yes are you?

Never totally satisfied, but overall this TBR was good. I was hoping to get 2 or 3 in the auction phase today and only got one. I'm pretty disciplined when it comes to bidding prices (mostly), so let a few go I liked (ergo, jiujitsu, imprint).

I got steamrolled on Ergo and lost all my other far-less-important auctions, coming away with zero - lots of money flying around on auctions today, and it makes me wonder how high they'd go if me and the other bidders dug deeper and pulled the winner up the tree.

Somebody really wanted a few of these (HCG, Nitrogen, Sponsors, Ergo, etc.) and at a certain point it looked like a foregone conclusion.

P.S. I was very surprised at the price of HCG and wondering if an agent for a company was in there bidding.

I am, overall, but there were so many to juggle that it was kinda messy to manage. There were probably a few i would have bid further on if everything wasn't happening all at once.

Agree. Near the end, I bailed on a couple that I liked, to chase one, it went too high. If I knew it was going that high, I would have bid higher on the earlier ones. Choices...
