Blame the government: they flood the system with all sorts of stimulus. All the extra money drives the prices of everything, including domains, higher.

People who hold assets see the value of their assets go up and get even wealthier. People who do not have assets see their cost of living go up and struggle even more to get by.

That being said, as a practical matter, even without a lot of money, you can make money domaining. Most of the domains I buy are in the $50 to $100 range, and I make that work.

Also, domaining is a really a long-term play - over time you will build up a portfolio, which will yield several sales per year.

Agree! And As I have said for many years there are many ways to the waterfall! Buy and sell, buy and hold, buy and develop,
Affiliate, ppc.....stay laser focused and don’t give up! Unfortunately while there are many ways to the waterfall there is not easy one

Domaining is a LONG game not a short one
People buy homes with Long time lines for payment and profit

Domains the same

I sold a twenty two year old domain last week! Worthless for 21 years but well worth the wait

There are all kinds of guys with LESS than you doing it! Follow yogi salani on twitter
Guy is from India and is making BANK doing outbound. English is not even his native language! He is PROOF POSITIVE that domains is more than just a long game! There are many ways to the waterfall! You need to keep walking!

I do and it's an iphone 5e lol im to stubborn to replace it now that the contract has been paid for a couple years now and its a lot cheaper on my phone bill without having to go back on a contract for a new phone... as horrible as it is compared to newer models I'll probably wait until there's an acident and it breaks, or somehow dies naturally eventually before buying a new one and going back on a plan lol

Thanks for answering what may have appeared to be a strange question from out of the blue. The reason why I asked is that there are tons of people out there who think absolutely nothing about spending 2500 on a phone that if they are lucky will likely last them only 2 years before being broken or memory full or obsolete garbage YET these same people think 2500 for a domain that they can use to communicate and make money indefinitely is a waste

Perspective is an interesting thing

If you have a development use for diet.ca, it is still cheap at it's present price. But for resale...much tougher.

This is a GREAT name and a GREAT price Stores pay 12K for signage and a window awning alone! If they want a add a pro logo and stationary probably pushing 20k and none of the sign awning or logo can be monetized to generate money

With a price like that, I wonder if an real end-user somehow got into the TBR to snag Diet.ca

Or maybe a frontrunner reached out to a bunch of end-users and firmed up a deal ahead of time and was playing with house money?

End user Not a chance
Front runner broker possible

Completely agree. I loved his songs and had the great honour to shake hands with him at the Casino Rama. Was there for all of his performances. But when I watched his video released after his wife's death, boy oh boy, I felt like crying. He is so broken and shaken. Unbelievable.

Undeniably was a trend setter for so many others, in his time. One of those most romantic voices ever!!!

Diet.ca is already resolving so it’s been paid for. Min. offer is $65K.

I just looked for the first time myself, I see the price has been removed, its just make an offer now.
