Was going to say I would have paid that for the domain but since its USD it works out to $13,467.00 CAD

That said, if it was a GoDaddy sale he will take a nice commission hit anyways.

I know, I know. It pained me to sell it, but I was in a serious cash crunch. This is a min $100k USD domain to the right buyer. I paid $5k CAD for it a few years back.

I didn't lose any commission, I got the $10k USD in full. Broker approached me.

It's a tough economy right now and it's especially bad for those selling luxury goods, which are mostly dead in the water.

Canada has devolved into a subsistence economy - if people don't absolutely require something to live, then they're not buying it.
