A little help with MyID (2.Viewing)

I'd love to tap into your experience with MyID.ca, because currently I am living through my first.

This past Wed, Aug 20, I had my first successful TBR backorder with them, for $200 +tax.

I received an invoice notice via email with Interac info as payment option. I paid right away.

Since then I sent them two emails, informing them of payment and asking how I can access the domain. There has been no communication from them, and the domain still doesn't show up under "My Domains" section.

Is this normal that it takes them this long to process TBR transactions?

All that has happened to me too.
 
MyID takes forever to do anything, and I'm still waiting on a payment from the run of August 13 to be processed and the domain allocated.

It's like RLM says, one day someone will come into the office and process all the pending transactions, then close the door and go back home.
 
My stress level just doubled after reading a few reviews on the web. And it isn't about money. It's the fact that I can potentially wait for 2 months and still not get the transaction processed.

I am a bit shocked to be honest. How are they CIRA certified??
 
They are probably retired, I would not worry too much, so far we have not heard of any uncompleted deals, just delays. So knowing that send them notices and then wait for things to complete. Everyone dislikes my ID but I have not heard of anyone being cheated out of their domain.

My understanding is that the owner also owns a major web development business working on huge projects for fortune 500 companies. So this little business is basically irrelevant to them. The support guy told me a few years ago that he'd been bugging the owner for many years to redesign the site, make upgrades, etc. It sounds like they've shined him on that it was going to happen but clearly it hasn't. It's just not much of a priority for them.
 
Mine was processed at the same time, so Art just got lucky to be at the point of the spear this time, as those at the end of the line have to wait much longer.
 
What is it at right now, 4 TBR weeks without any results or updates from MyID? I sent them in a support email yesterday, and I'm starting to wonder if anyone works there anymore.
