is this a traffic play? I don't get it...

It's clearly obvious based on the past 6-12 months of TBR bidding on traffic domains, that several people have figured out how to successfully monetize these expired domains. If you can turn a $3000 buy for VanMuralFest.ca into a profit, kudos!!! I don't imagine the buyers will volunteer their identity.

Not all SEO juice purchases pay off: Pegipegi.com was sold at expired auction for $51,000, and the owner set up a gambling site. It was recently lost in a UDRP.

This is yet another SEO/Backlinks purchase for the now-defunct Vancouver Mural Festival, and I fully expect a "recreated site + insidious gambling links" to be launched in short order. Right now it links to something that is giving off "security issues" so it fits the pattern.

These guys must be making a mint on gambling income to be paying this type of bizarre cash for these traffic domains.
