You do realize that even with the Liberals cutting back on their outlandish intake of Foreign Students, that the non-school (counselling, lodging, consulting, help with applications, etc.) is still worth billions?

I personally think that one of the "big dogs" in the Canadian foreign student business is going to buy it as a promo domain. Probably $2-$3K.

The possibilities of development for the commerce domain name are insane, you are limited only by your imagination.

Sorry, but that's not the way I've been trained to evaluate potential business opportunities.

i.e. I really don't like either one, as they're almost too generic. I'm just stating that there are almost 2 million University FT or PT students in Canada, and that's a nice target market, especially with all the foreign students still flooding in.

The way I look at it is you can register the dictionary with wordcommerce.ca or commerceword.ca or you can own the space.

Commerce is one of the rare words that completely defines, and owns, the space with a dominant domain. It has very little do do with if you or I like the domain than with someone wooing commerce that has deep pockets and wants to own the space.

I'd only consider it for a platform that connects students to universities across Canada. Charge each university access fee, etc. Great domain for development!

Then the question is... should it be plural?

One would almost need both to do it right.
 
Hopefully some trade school/organization buys it and forwards it to a page showing the advantages of getting into trades.

Wow, lots of cash flying around for some pretty mediocre domains.

I've always felt the TBR was relative each week, and whatever the top domains are (good bad or ugly), get all that week's allotment of money.
 
And even though University.ca was not even won by WHC, the current price there has increased to $938 in heavy bidding. :LOL:

That's a quick way to tell that a pile of newbie bidders just fell off the turnip truck.
