So it looks like all the auctions from last week got reset to +1 week due to the brownout, but what happens to this week's auctions?

Okay, so after the systems crash, CatchDrop extended the existing Dec 14 auctions by 1 week, and now I see they have added the Dec 28 auctions just now, but what happened to these from Dec 21?

I am certain Grunge, SuperGood and Revert had some bids on them, so...

Hi there,
All those 3 domains went to single backorders, if my memory is good all to domain investors well known here.

How is that possible? I put in single bids for weeks and none of them ever get picked up by you guys or anyone.

I ended up hand-registering them all during WHC/Rebel sales instead, and I just gave up on your service as it seemed to need 2+ bids to register.

That's too bad, you give up to quick, many active people in this forum have been catching great domains for $8.88 including today. The funniest to me is that none of them will ever post here "WOW cool caught this great domain for $8.88 on CatchDrop :) " The discuss the domain with others and never mention a word about them catching it, but for the glitches everyone is very talkative :) Happy New years my friend

So your system is fixed now and it can accept and register single bids?

It worked for me early on, but after it went live for real, all I would get week after week were emails stating XYZ domains were not picked up, so I just went and hand-registered them myself.

What do you mean by single bids? Backorders are working perfectly. Now catching or not is never a guarantee

They used to work (I picked up a few early on, while going to auction on others) but at a certain point, the system seemed to pass over domains with only a single bid. And as I stated, I hand-registered them all later, so this is clearly not a case of some other registrar picking them up - they just got passed over by your system.

My experiences were mirrored in your TBR results, which had a 100% "Go to Auction" rate during those weeks. One-Hundred Percent.

If the system is fixed, then I'll give it another try this week.
 
You should look over your logs.

Davic.ca is one I remember and it has a "Missed" status on my account from Nov 30, but you can see from WHOIS that I registered using a Rebel sale after the 2 PM TBR run on Nov 30 at 3:07 PM.

It could also be a timing issue, as I'm notorious for placing late bids, which would not affect those domains with existing bids already. But if your system is processing early, like at 1:30-35 or so instead of at exactly 1:45 when the site closes, then it would bypass any domain preordered with myself as the lone bidder.
 
CatchDrop - SPECIAL AUCTIONS

Notice:
Special Auctions are all domains that were backordered or won in auction but eventually not paid by the user after multiple reminders during the grace period.

All domains that result in non payment will be re-auctioned under the special auctions category periodically if any.

We currently have several domains that were not paid for since our Beta launch and all these domains will be released back to Special Auctions Category gradually starting April 26, 2023.

Additionally, on May 4th 2022 our system was deployed and caught 19 domains. Due to technical system adjustments required, our launch was delayed. These domains are now in Live Auction as Special Auctions for 7 days until May 03, 2023.

Any domains in Special Auction will have 2 system bids of $8.88 as it's required by our system in order for an auction to start.
The first next bid of $18.88 will be the auction leader until if any other bids are placed.

These 19 domains are NOW in LIVE AUCTION:

The last 5 minutes of the auction, it appears your servers were hit by a DDOS attack or something. it will not load any pages in order to bid!
Please do a do-over.

I cannot even load a page.

Same here and it looks like a DDOS attack so that someone wins some auctions.

Damn, it just loaded and everything is over, Definitely a scam going on.
 
Horrible time getting bids in to CatchDrop auction!!!!!! Couldn't bid on Walk.ca and apparently it sold for only $358
