Could buying or transfer not be more integrated into the control panel. Instead of overriding the tab have it load (like in a frame) inside the main viewing area of the control panel.
That would definitely be ideal, but the whole architecture is not set up for it at this point. Thank you for the clarification.

@FM

Ummmm, why are there old auctions from week's past on my TBR auction list today?

I'm just about to send emails about that - there are 3 auctions that we're re-running today due to the issues we had with the bidding interface two weeks ago.

That's what I thought at first, but it looks like someone already owns them...

Any issue with that?

The person has been informed and is aware. Whois should be updated shortly to our holding account. Thank you for watching out for them.

yep, someone does. screwed again. but throwing a tantrum wouldn’t do any good either, so just going with the flow.

Thank you @rlm for your support and understanding.

Seems like it often is the same one.

Well if its .ca domain related, I'm probably involved.

And for the record, @FM did call to apologize first, and I'm not bitter over it or anything. I do understand. It isn't uncommon for mistakes to be made and for auctions to be rerun, so even though I occasionally get screwed, I could also be the benefactor. The only problem I can see with it is that these auction re-runs always benefit the registrar, the one who made the mistake.

Ultimately, as long as the decisions are always consistent in cases like this, then at least we can know what to expect and not be overly upset when it happens.

@FM please take a close look over that billing. In the re-auction, I lost DVO, so you credited back the amount I originally paid on the original invoice. However, you've now billed me a second time for the other two domains. As its stands, I've paid for those domains twice now. What should have happened was that ALL 3 domains to be refunded on the original invoice, then re-billed for the ones I re-won.

Thank you, this will be done shortly - I was just waiting for the invoices to come trough. Thank you @rlm

This should be fixed now - I was going to apply it as an account credit, and against the new invoice, but you were too fast for me, sorry.

I guess in my mind, the most logical thing to do would have been to just not bill me a second time for the two domains I re-won, at the same price. So when I saw you refunded only the dvo domain, but billed me for the other two a second time, it just looked like a mistake.

Yes, I was also considering cancelling the other two, but they were auto-billed already at that point. It happens right when they are auto-generated.

Ah right, that makes sense. Better reason to have just refunded them on the original invoice then, right along with the DVO refund.

So are those two domains stuck with Emil's registrant for 60 days? I can't seem to update them to use my standard registrant.
