It is a pretty common practice for TM holders who don’t want to pay for the domain to try to gain access to it through a UDRP. This is not the first time and it won’t be the last. There are many companies out there that just won’t pay. The fact a domain goes into UDRP is a sign they probably will never purchase the domain either.
I think they gave it a shot hoping that because there was contact that would be enough to secure the domain. They failed. They will move on. They’ve managed for this long and many others do the same also. I think we tend to believe these companies really need our domains but in a lot of cases they can do without. Which is why greed should not become a factor when selling a domain name. You should have a price in mind and that’s it. That lottery ticket type of mindset doesn’t succeed.

I got a 2.25 million dollar offers two days after the UDRP concluded, unfortunately the price has gone up, I will no longer consider that price range.
The moment the WIPO decision came down, RAMS.com became a different asset.
Before:
– Risk-adjusted
– Litigation-exposed
– Discounted by fear
After:
– Clean
– Defensible
– Institutional-grade
“$2.5M was the price for RAMS.com with risk of a doomed UDRP.
Now we’re talking about RAMS.com without risk.”
Those are two different products.

According to the UDRP you were asking 3.5 million before the UDRP. Would you consider that today?

Silly comment, the domain has a UDRP win, a clean history, and massive brand appeal. Using it as a leased domain will diminish it's value.

ExpiredDomains.com needs to get his act together, I was not in a cyber squatting case, I was the legitimate owner of a generic 4 letter .com.
I don't often chastise other domainers but he should know better especially because he is in the business.
Had I owned RamsNFL or RamsFootball or similar then this would have been a cyber squatting case.
Right now he needs to stop trying to sensationalize something that is basically a straight forward case PERIOD!
