And let the crazy bidding start on Tera.ca

Especially considering it's the only domain Siber/WHC seems to have won this week, it should go pretty high.

P.S. Others are having this problem, not just me, but from the "everything is fine" support reply I got, Siber doesn't seem to know there's an issue.

yeah siber really needs to vet their results before those emails go out automatically. what a mess.

MyID caught a domain that I wanted and it had multiple bids. My bid was $60 and it didn't go to auction. It says the domain is registered to another user. Is this normal?

Anyone who received a simil

Anyone who received a similar "mess of an email" needs to contact Siber immediately, as from my support reply, they don't seem to think there is a problem.

I noticed etagonline.ca in TBR

Then I found this….

C4-EBCAE4-E4-AF-41-F7-A279-D1-F3515-E6-E31.jpg

#113 on TBR list - Namespro.ca got it.

Still no update on my Siber account.

The last time this happened, when I erroneously (and probably a lot of people) were given more wins than were warranted, Siber were very quick to act by refunding my payment within an hour and providing an adjusted invoice to pay.

Who knows what's going on this time, but it can't be good.

And the TBR Results have (finally) been corrected by Siber and the emails were sent out at around 6:30AM.

I admit to being a bit perturbed/concerned this time out, as Siber has had more than their fare share of TBR issues (understatement), but prior to this, the problems have been fixed quickly.

I can remember one week, literally "robbing the store" and thinking I had a lucky week by outright winning virtually every auction I bid on. So I paid, Siber discovered a problem, reversed the payment, and sent out updated TBR Results emails, all within about an hour.

No idea what happened this time around, but it must have been quite ugly to take this long.

OK, I am out of the loop this week (working on mobile)....

Did WHC catch the domains I posted in my results?

Were the results incorrect or was the email incorrect?

No idea what's going on here, but I just received the Siber/WHC TBR Results email, and although WHOIS says they won a pile of domains, the only "winner" on my entire list was:

Tera.ca

All the others, including Ican, Firestarter, et al. were apparently NOT won by Siber/WHC, which begs the question who won them and how were they able to win them.

Please do check the auctions at Sibername - we had an issue that caused some emails to be sent saying that Sibername didn't get the domain when we actually did get it. The issue has been fixed, our apologies for any inconvenience.

The results posted above are correct.

Anyone know if exorcist dot ca ended up in auction? I see that FastWebServer nabbed it but there has been no sign of an email about the auction. Asking for a friend... ;+)

Would anyone care to explain this?

What confuses me is the current bid changing from 999 to 1000.

Sorry to hear that you didn't win it, but congratulations to the eventual winner who is reading this.

I'll try to figure it out with our team if you can elaborate a bit as to what you were expecting to see vs. what happened with regards the increments and the time.

The high bid went from $999 to $1,000 with no new bids. As you can see my last bid was $950. If someone had a proxy bid of $999 why did it change to $1,000?

The whole thing confuses me. Regardless, congrats to winner.

OMG, first of all 1k for a 4 letter which is mostly used for a video game

I mean, I should talk I have hundreds of 4 letters and I sell them at 5k a pop but you literally have to have hundreds to get the direct hits. The odds of a one off are slim by comparisons. I also paid $1.99 on sale when I hoarded the 4 letters years back.

I'll take a closer look with the time, might take a moment though. I see what you're saying.

I saw that too, truly is odd

What else is odd is to see you bid $950 for it.

Can you share why you were willing to invest that much in the domain?
