I'll wait until they release a stable version.

The link for Back Order Center does nothing, then when I go to my old bookmark it brings me right back to the nothing page. I have to exit the new control panel and go to the back order center of the old panel to see anything.
Checking into this, please use the old client area back order center for now.

It's still in beta at this point, and we're making changes almost daily. Once ready it will be available to everyone. And there is a switch for those in the beta to switch between interfaces.

I couldn't reproduce this, even when logged into your account as an Admin. Can you please provide me some more details if this is still happening for you?

does the new client area replace the existing backorder pages? I'm still annoyed by the lack of a date filter in the current interface.

No, it doesn't replace any of the "website" and order pages, i.e. anything on whc.ca. Only only clients.whc.ca. But an additional filter for this is in the pipeline, I just don't have an ETA at this point.

bummer. I'm sure every tbr customer would appreciate it! And its probably just a 10 minute fix!

Yes it is still happening, I use ChromeOS, (what you would call a chromebook) and the link does nothing, I get a blank page.

I have 5 ChromeOS workstations, plus my chromebook, and 4 ChromeOS Laptops and the link has not worked on any device running ChromeOS.

The funny thing is the other links all work.

So I have to switch from the new control panel to the old one to participate in TBR.

It's unusual because usually ANYTHING that runs in the chrome browser will run on a chromebook.

Thank you for the screenshot, @MapleDots. Can you please also give me the URL, just for checking things in detail?

I was able to reproduce the backorder center issue in the new client area now @MapleDots . We are trying to deploy a fix tomorrow morning, but we recommend using the old client area interface for this week.

Ps. When I bookmark the beta panel on mobile with a shortcut on the screen it technically works like an app. However it is missing the proper favicon and shows a generic W.
Looks like we only had one size of favicon, but multiple sizes are required for this, if this isn't live yet it will be soon.

Hehe, I can teach them how to do that

It's actually insanely easy...

Favicon.io - The Ultimate Favicon Generator (Free)

Just go there and upload one image, they generate all sizes with instructions and boom you have an insane favicon that works on every device, plus it looks like an app when added to the homescreen on mobile.

Good try but...

Your people have your logo in a square box and android makes them all round so it adds a generic white circle.

You can see my MapleDots and DN favicons are uploaded roud so they will not get the generic white circle.

PS the dn favicon is now an app so it does not get a chrome icon when added to the home screen. That is the ultimate, it looks the best and there are certain things in the code you need to do to have that work but in most cases a round favicon like my mapledots one will do the job.

I think we probably need a round logo with a transparent background instead, We'll check that. Thank you.

Just so you know, I also get the blank screen on Android, I can see the auction only on the old control panel.
Can you please try to refresh - it worked for me this morning after I refreshed.

Refresh did nothing, I logged out, closed all tabs, closed browser, then logged back in and now it works.

Am on my phone now but will be back on my Chromebook near auction end so I will let you know if it works on Chromebook now too.

I will repeat the above procedure.

I was logged out on my Chromebook but when I logged in the Backorder Center was working.

So I can confirm it now works on ChromeOS as well as Android

It's weird, it works on our Android, and there is a recommendation to have a border around the logo for visibility. Is this a Chromebook?
